jackie huges
Our President, Jackie Hughes '67 is a 3rd generation Bluejay. known to her classmates and most simply as "Jac", she attended classes at Concordia and UN-L and recently retired after 38 years at Hughes Brothers, Inc. Jac is a 17 year veteran of Jazzercise, a lifelong swimmer and is an avid Husker Football and Nascar fan. Her priorities for this job are Alumni, Future Alumni and their parents in that order. As a lover of music and dance, Jac wonders if President of the SHS Alumni Assn. qualifies you for "Dancing with the Stars"?

Our Vice-Chairman of the Board Matthew Hill is from the Class of 1977. Known to his classmates as "Streeeek". Matt went to Kearney State College. Matt has worked at BryanLGH since 1982 with a 4 year hiatus to Disney World (no besides what you might think he wasn't Goofy). Streeek enjoys collecting to many things to list here. His favorite teams are the Phillies, Husker football, Husker Volleyball and the Packers. Streeek is pictured here with one of his favorite band Three Dog Night. He is the Dork in the middle.
david foster
David Foster, Treasurer. Seems like eons ago that I walked across the stage at the original SHS and got my diploma from Doc Winters in May 1967. Six weeks later I was becoming the third generation of Fosters to serve in the military. Did not know then but that service would span 21 years in the United States Army . Traveled the world seeing Viet Nam, Thailand, Korea, Okinawa and Germany. (Not bad for someone whose farthest trip from Seward was to Pueblo Colorado). Married and divorced, raising Benjamin and Catherine as a single parent Moved to Brainard Nebraska in '91 and haven't left. I fully retired in '96, went back to Bangkok Thailand. Discovered that the Association needed a bean counter and decided that was a good project.
susan riley
My name is Susan (Schroeder) Riley ('83). I graduated from UNL in 1987 and after living outside of Seward for many years, moved back in 2003 married Todd Riley in 2006 and we have a one year old son Kyle. I work full time at Kolterman Agency, Inc. here in Seward and part-time doing my Mary Kay business. We live outside of Seward on an acreage and enjoy all the activities that involves - gardening, mowing and landscaping. We have two dogs, Penny (Westie) and Otis (yellow lab) and of course, farm cats-- too many to name!
